FAQ

Common questions about creator app partnerships — revenue splits, timelines, ownership, and what kind of creators this works for.

The Partnership

50/50. You bring the audience, I build and maintain the app. We both win when it works. The split covers everything — development, design, App Store fees, server costs. You don't pay for any of that.

The "catch" is that I need your app to succeed too. I invest weeks of my time and expertise. If the app doesn't make money, I don't make money. Our incentives are perfectly aligned.

Yes. It's your app, your brand, your audience. You own your equity stake in the app and all revenue that comes with it. The partnership agreement spells out exactly who owns what. No surprises.

50% of something is better than 100% of nothing. A custom app costs $50K–$150K to build with an agency. You're getting that for free, with ongoing updates included. Plus, I'm incentivized to make YOUR app as profitable as possible.

Building the App

Most apps are live within 21 days. Some faster, depending on complexity. Your total time commitment is about 40 minutes across three short feedback calls.

Show up for a couple of short calls, give feedback on the design, and promote it to your audience when it's ready. I handle everything else — design, development, App Store submission, updates, bug fixes, server maintenance.

You don't need to be technical. I handle everything. You just give feedback on designs and keep creating your content. If you can use Instagram, you can be part of this.

Simple utility apps that solve a specific problem your audience already has. Trackers, planners, logs, guides — things people use daily. We don't invent ideas. We find what's already making money and build your version.

That's fine — most creators don't. I'll research your niche, find what's already working, and come to you with a recommendation. You don't need an idea. You need an audience.

Revenue & Risk

Then neither of us makes money. I don't charge upfront — I only win if you win. You lose nothing. I lose weeks of work.

It depends on your niche and audience size. Creators with 100K–500K followers typically see $5K–$30K/month in app revenue within the first few months. Some go much higher.

Because they already trust you. Your audience follows you for a reason. They'd rather use something from you than some random app they found in search. Your name carries weight.

Requirements

This works best with creators between 100K and 1M followers. Smaller than that, the math gets harder. Bigger than that, you probably have other options. But engagement matters more than raw numbers.

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X — any platform where you have an engaged audience. The platform matters less than the relationship you have with your followers.

Yes. I work with creators globally. The App Store is worldwide and so is this partnership.
