Here's what I'm seeing in the [niche] space.
[Top Competitor App] is doing around $[XXX]K/month. [Second Competitor] is at $[XXX]K/month. Same basic concept — [brief description of what the apps do].
The market's validated. People pay for this.
What they don't have is a version from someone they already trust. That's the gap.
I'd suggest we build something very close to what's already working — your branding, your voice, your audience. You're not competing with [Top Competitor]. You're just giving your people a version that feels like yours.

Both models are already proven in the market. Happy to walk through the thinking on either.
Who's behind this?
Steve Harris
I'm Steve. I've been building digital products for 14 years — websites, platforms, membership systems, and now mobile apps.
Five apps shipped to the App Store in the last two months. 30+ five-star reviews from clients over the years.
I'm not an agency. I'm one person who builds things that work and partners with creators who have audiences that would use them.

How software monetization actually works for creators.
Most creators have never considered building an app — because they've never had a way to do it.
This breaks down why apps compound differently than brand deals or affiliates, and what separates the ones that work from the ones that don't.

How does the revenue split work?
50/50. You bring the audience, I build and maintain the app. We both win when it works.
How long does it take to build?
Most apps are live within 21 days. Some faster, depending on complexity.
What do I actually have to do?
Show up for a couple of short calls, give feedback on the design, and promote it to your audience when it's ready. I handle everything else.
What if it doesn't make money?
Then neither of us makes money. I don't charge upfront — I only win if you win.
Do I own the app?
Yes. It's your app, your brand, your audience. I'm the builder and partner, not the owner.
What kinds of apps work best?
Simple utility apps that solve a specific problem your audience already has. Trackers, planners, logs, guides — things people use daily.
Why would someone use my app instead of an existing one?
Because they already trust you. Your audience follows you for a reason. They'd rather use something from you than some random app they found in search.
What if I don't have a big audience?
This works best with creators between 100K and 1M followers. Smaller than that, the math gets harder. Bigger than that, you probably have other options.
